The rising sun hits the mountaintop opposite camp while the Scouts learn about keeping fuel bottles warm :-) This is a view from the kitchen at Crag Lake. These were almost the only clouds we saw, and they dissipated soon. We dissipated soon ourselves since we wanted to cover the 5 or so miles to the pick-up point by 10:30. The view was pretty eerie; it really was that grey looking; the colors haven't been changed in the photo.
Wow, how often do you see the bottom of a tree?
The end of the wilderness. A fair bit dirtier, and a lot tired, but very happy and proud. The only boo-boos were a few blisters and a scrape which the Scouts tended themselves.
